Today is a special day! My puppy, Bella, turned 2 years old! I don’t have kids yet, so this was a big celebration in my family! I admit, I’m huge animal lover…and Bella is like my baby…so you know what that means…dresses, bows, etc. She has a better wardrobe than me!! I can’t say she likes to be dressed up, but everyone who sees her … loves it!! Today I took her to visit my parents… My mom, Lydia, calls Bella her “grand-dog”! My dad, Carmen, always plays with her! Bella knows them as Nani and Papa… and gets all excited when I say we’re going to see them! Of course, we had to make a stop at the pet store …for a new toy…she picked out a pumpkin that squeeks! She was so pooped when we got home…she headed right for bed!! It’s funny how much animals fill your heart…they love you unconditionally when you’re having a bad day, they cuddle when you don’t feel good, and they act silly when you need to laugh! OK, so the next shopping trip…to get Bella’s Halloween costume…everyone thinks I’m crazy! Are any of you dressing up your pet? I’d love some ideas! I’ll put up some pictures of Bella soon!
